NFA Debate Team Travels to Harvard to Compete
The NFA Debate team had the great opportunity to compete in the 46th Annual Harvard Forensics National Tournament held at Harvard University. The tournament consisted over 400 teams from all across the country.

NFA Varsity Competitive Cheerleading Team Takes First Place With Zero Deductions
The NFA Varsity Competitive Cheerleading team took home a 1st place win Saturday at the Husky Rumble competition in Highland! In their strongest performance of the season, the girls completed a routine with zero deductions.

NFA Evening School Celebrates 30 Perfect Attendance Scholars
NFA Evening Campus hosted a celebration for thirty scholars who had perfect attendance during the second quarter. Scholars and their families were welcomed to a brief ceremony and celebrated with certificates, treats, and refreshments.

Approximately sixty high school scholars in Mrs. Elizabeth Thomas-Cappello’s Introduction to Computer Science and Web Design class as well as her NECSD Marist ECHS class introduced elementary scholars to computer science.

NFA North Scholars Celebrated for Good Grades and Attendance
NFA North Campus scholars were recognized and celebrated for passing all of their classes for the second quarter. A smaller group was also recognized for having perfect attendance for that same quarter.

NFA Scholars Save 400 Lives with Blood Drive Donations
91ÌÒÉ«Èë¿Ú Free Academy scholars hosted their third Blood Drive of the year this week. A team of 30 student volunteers welcomed approximately 130 donors. Each donation typically equates to saving three lives.

The second cohort of the NECSD Marist Early College High School (ECHS) program began in January. During their first week, the two cohorts met and were paired as mentor and mentee.

The NFA Boys Varsity Swim Team held their senior night, recognizing swimmers who will be graduating in June. Seniors Anthony Etri-Maughan, John Matthews, and John Salloum along their families were recognized by their coaches and teammates.

Ninth grade Honors students from 91ÌÒÉ«Èë¿Ú Free Academy Main Campus took a trip to Washington's Headquarters recently. The scholars are going to do a museum label writing activity using artifacts from the collection from Washington's Headquarters.
