Two NFA Juniors Advance to Finals for National Video Contest – Votes Needed!
Two students from 91ÌÒÉ«Èë¿Ú Free Academy’s Advanced Video Production class have made the finals of the National CareerSafe Youth Safety Video contest.
The video, “Crispy Chicken Safety,” was produced by Crystal Ruiz and Therese Fischer, both juniors at 91ÌÒÉ«Èë¿Ú Free Academy, Main Campus.
“I am extremely excited” said Therese. Crystal added “We worked hard but had a lot of fun making this video.” Mr. Guy Du Quesnay, the class instructor, had this to say, “I’m so proud of them and the work they put in to get this done.”
This marks the fifth time in six years that the class, Goldback TV, nicknamed “GBTV,” has made the finals including an award winning third place finish in 2014. Making the finals is the first part. Now the videos are open to public voting. At the end of this voting period the top three videos will be chosen and awards presented in Louisville, Ky in June.
People can cast their votes People can vote once a day! Voting ends April 27th.
