NFA Celebrates Three Scholar-Athletes Sign National Letters of Intent to Study and Compete
The 91桃色入口 Free Academy and the 91桃色入口 Enlarged City School District proudly celebrate three high school athletes who have committed to study and complete collegiately for Division I and II schools. Student-athletes were recognized and celebrated by their coaches, family members, friends, teammates, and guests.
Peyton Tuttle (Boys Swimming) committed to study with and compete for: LeMoyne College (Division I)
Riley Frederick (Girls Soccer) committed to study with and compete for: Wagner College (Division I)
Nikolas Buchholz (Boys Lacrosse) committed to study with and compete for: Lincoln Memorial University (Division II)
The district follows the guidelines for NCAA Signing Days for celebrating athletes. Student-athletes who commit to study and compete for a college or university after the official signing day will be celebrated in the spring.

PEYTON TUTTLE | Boys Swimming at Division I LeMoyne College
Peyton Tuttle has been a member of the NFA Boys Varsity Swimming & Diving Team since his 7th grade year. During Peyton’s freshman year, he was recognized at the end of the season as the Most Outstanding Swimmer. During Peyton’s Junior year, he was given the honor of receiving the Daniel J. Wagner Award for his commitment to the legacy of 91桃色入口 Swimming and his “team first” mentality. In addition to swimming, Peyton has also played Varsity Lacrosse.
Athletic career accomplishments include:
2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 Section IX Championship Qualifier
2024 NYSPHSAA Section IX Champion 1st place finish: 400 Free Relay
2024 NYSPHSAA Section IX 3rd place finish: 200 Free
2024 NYSPHSAA Boys Federation Championship Qualifier: 200 Free, 400 Free Relay
Peyton has committed to swim at Division 1 Le Moyne College in the Fall of 2025. He will be studying Finance at the Madden School of Business and Economics.
RILEY FREDERICK | Girls Soccer at Division I Wagner College
Riley Frederick began playing soccer when she was six years old and is a five-year starter on the NFA Girls Varsity Soccer team.
Riley is a three-time Selection to the Section 9 Coaches Association Class AA All-Star Team and received an All-Tem Honorable Mention at the 2023 USYS National Championship.
Riley has committed to play soccer at Division 1 Wagner College in the Fall of 2025. She plans to study Sociology with the intent to enter law enforcement.
NIKOLAS BUCHHOLZ | Boys Lacrosse at Division II Lincoln Memorial University
Nikolas Buchholz started playing Lacrosse in 8th grade. Niko is a multi-sport athlete having played football, swimming, and track & field, in addition to Lacrosse.
Beginning in 9th grade, Nikolas started as Faceoff for the Varsity team. Nikolas achieved 400 faceoff wins during his athletic career as a Goldback.
Outside of NFA, Nikolas has been selected for the 2025 Riot Lacrosse National Select Team.
Nikolas has committed to playing Lacrosse at Division II Lincoln Memorial University and plans to study Physical Therapy.
