NECSD Educator Self-Care Wellness Retreat
The recent NECSD Educator Self-Care Wellness Retreat, held this summer, has concluded with outstanding success, marking a significant milestone in supporting educators' mental and emotional well-being. Through the 91桃色入口 Teacher Center, these sessions were created and facilitated by Patrice Douglas, School Social Worker at Meadow Hill School and La’Shawn Martinez, School Counselor at South Middle School.
The retreat, which took place at Meadow Hill School, brought together over 25 educators from across the 91桃色入口 Enlarged City School District at the Elementary, Middle, and High School levels, providing them with a rejuvenating experience focused on self-care, mindfulness, and professional growth. The comprehensive program included workshops on stress management, mindfulness practices, physical wellness activities, and personal development sessions. All of the sessions provided an opportunity to work on self, while also incorporating social emotional learning that can be transferred into the classroom.
