Books and Breakfast | A Beloved Tradition at South Middle School
For 16 years, South Middle School has proudly hosted its annual Books and Breakfast event. This heartwarming tradition brings together students, families, and the local community to celebrate literacy, community, and good food. This year, the event saw over 500 attendees who enjoyed a delightful breakfast, received free books, and participated in various activities and events. It was a day filled with joy, learning, and community spirit, embodying what makes South Middle School special.
The breakfast, a highlight of the event, was cooked and served by students under the guidance of the Home and Careers Department. Leading this culinary effort is the dynamic mother-daughter team of Nancy and Kara Tancredi. For many, their delicious breakfast spread has become synonymous with the Books and Breakfast experience.
