Balmville Students LOVE Their Teeth!
Tuesday fun continues over at Balmville Elementary where school & community are coming together, thanks to a partnership between Cornerstone Family Healthcare and the Nurse’s Office Team! For the past three years, Christina Garufi RDH and Lesly Retamozo, Outreach Coordinator have visited Balmville to perform routine preventative dental screenings on over 100 students each visit. They also educate the students on proper dental care.
The visit is coordinated by Balmville School Nurse Teacher, who shared how effective the visit is each year and the impact it has on keeping her students healthy.
Balmville is doing it with LOVE by showing some love and care to their teeth and gums!
