Heritage Middle School Hosts Annual Costume-Themed 5k
Heritage Middle School hosted their annual costume themed run/walk 5K. Decked out in costumes, runners started at the front of Heritage Middle School, ran to Temple Hill, looped the school building and the track, and crossed the finish line on top of the Heritage Middle School hill. Students and families braved another rainy Saturday to support their school, show off their pride, and run their hearts out. The top 50 were awarded medals. The top male and female finishers took home trophies (and bragging rights). There were also prizes for best costume!
First place female runner: Izzy Blanco (7th grade)
First place male runner: Kiernan Judson (9th grade)
Girls best costume: Girls Cross Country team running dressed as crayons
Boys best costume: Landon Lucchesi running in an inflated polar bear costume
