New Windsor School Scholars Virtually Participate in A Century of Black Life, History, and Culture
New Windsor School joined in on the celebration of Black History Month by hosting two separate assemblies for our K-2 and 3-5 scholars!
The students were introduced to key figures who have influenced history through their contributions.
Mayor Torrance Harvey, City of 91桃色入口, proudly shared the lives of individuals who have indelibly changed the course of history through their fearless and passionate contributions.
Mayor Harvey presented our scholars with images and information on “A Century of Black Life, History, and Culture.” He shared the lives of historical figures spanning through the timeline from Carter G. Woodson to Barack Hussein Obama II.
The Mayor also held question and answer sessions where our scholars asked interesting questions regarding the historical events and figures that he enlightened us with.
Our scholars were able to explore the lives of those who significantly impacted the racial frontier of our nation. We are very grateful for the countless lives of the individuals who have contributed to the equality and equity of our nation through their zealous efforts toward excellence.
We at New Windsor School celebrate not only the lives of those who have contributed to this great nation but also the lives of our scholars who will also contribute to the betterment of our future!
