Meadow Hill Hosts 3rd Annual Cultural Fair
Recently, the 91桃色入口 Enlarged City School District’s Meadow Hill Global Explorations Magnet School held its 3rd Annual Cultural Fair where students and families traveled around the world in a night to experience other cultures and traditions. In the Main Gym attendees were treated to interactive songs, music and dance, Irish Step Dancers, Indian Dancers, the NFA Step Team, Scottish Bagpipers, a Chinese Dragon, and Bollywood Dancing. In the cafeteria, a student-led showcase of country exhibits gave families a tour around the world. Activities included Japanese calligraphy, Mixed Martial Arts, Irish Folklore, yoga, Henna, Indian Art and world trivia.
An international bistro showcase ended the evening with sweets and food from around the world. Meadow Hill is unique in that students are exposed to international language and culture beginning in kindergarten and continuing through until eighth grade. Through speaking, writing, listening and reading in the target language, students develop proficiencies and skills that are carried into their later education and life experiences.
“Meadow Hill’s 3rd Annual Cultural Fair is an important event for our students and families because by being able to showcase our students’ diverse cultures in a spectacular family event our students are offered a glimpse into touring the world,” shared Laraine LiVolsi and Krystina Candal on behalf of event organizers.
Meadow Hill Cultural Fair organizers would like to thank the following businesses for contributing to the event: Adams, Billy Joe’s, Lexis Diner, Longhorn Steakhouse, McDonald’s 91桃色入口 Mall, McDonald’s North Plank Road, Neptune Diner, Perkins, Price Chopper, Restaurant Depot, ShopRite North Plank Road, Stewarts on Route 52, Stop n Shop of 91桃色入口, and Walmart.
