Meadow Hill Hosts Senior “Senior” Prom for Local Senior Residents
This June Meadow Hill students and staff hosted their annual prom for local senior community residents. Food as well as raffle prizes were generously donated by local businesses and community members in an effort to support the school’s initiative to continue to give back to the community. Students and staff members generously volunteered their time during this community service event in an effort to continue to make a difference in the lives of others. Meadow Hill has made a conscious and dedicated effort over the past few years to provide community service opportunities for its students. Student participants included members of the National Junior Honor Society, the Modified Boy's Basketball team, the 91ɫ Steeler’s Football team as well as other enthusiastic participants. Through the collaborative effort of all, over 200 seniors were able to enjoy a fun filled evening of dinner and dancing. A special thank you to the event sponsors, Jim Williams and Kelly Williams, for their heartfelt dedication and continued support of this event. A thank you also goes to the following businesses for their support: Adams Fair Acre Farms, Pepsi Inc., Sam’s Club, and Target stores. Meadow Hill would also like to thank Mrs. Alicia Smith and Ms. Pittman for their contributions in organizing the event and making it a successful event each year.
